Worldbuilding module
- Added a dedicated Worldbuilding workspace for locations, lore, rules, and recurring setting details.
- Introduced a full worldbuilding editor with categories, summaries, rich-text descriptions, tags, status tracking, and parent/related location linking.
- Added chapter and character cross-linking so worldbuilding entries can stay connected to the rest of the project.
- Added attachments and image support for worldbuilding entries like maps, plus board cards with search and sorting.
Direct uploads, storage tracking, and file management
- Added direct uploads to secure object storage for project manuscripts, note attachments, character images, project cover images, and marketing graphics.
- Introduced plan-based storage quotas and file-size limits, with storage usage now visible in Account and on the Projects dashboard.
- Added malware scanning, quarantine handling, upload abuse throttling, and cleanup of stale or deleted file objects.
- Improved upload UX across manuscripts, notes, characters, marketing copy, and project settings with cleaner panels, previews, and inline status feedback.
Card search across project workspaces
- Added card search in Board view with matching cards and columns shown while non-matches are hidden.
- Introduced a unified header search trigger for Board, Notes, and Characters with an expanding search panel.
- Added run-once search guidance tip and polished search UX, including reset controls and improved focus styling.
Multi-Factor Authentication and security improvements
- Added Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) support for enhanced account security.
- MFA is now available in My Account settings with options for authenticator apps and backup codes.
- MFA is currently optional but should be enabled for added protection against unauthorized access.
Google SSO and registration flow upgrade
- Added Google SSO for both login and account creation.
- Introduced a clearer two-step desktop registration flow with plan selection and account setup side-by-side.
- Improved plan card ordering and visual cues to make pricing choices easier to compare.
- Refined registration page hierarchy and spacing for better readability on larger screens.
Beat Sheet docking and multi-modal workflow
- Added desktop Beat Sheet docking to a persistent right-side workspace panel.
- You can now keep a Beat Sheet open while working in chapters, notes, characters and marketing copy modals
- Great for cross-referencing beats while writing, and for keeping a beat sheet open as a reference while working in other areas of the app.
- Dock state now persists across refreshes, sessions, devices, and project view switches until manually closed.
scryla recover launch
- Introduced scryla recover: convert EPUB files into clean, editable DOCX drafts.
- Expanded writing workflow support for imported manuscript recovery and cleanup.
Browser spellcheck enabled in rich text editors
- Enabled native browser spellcheck in TinyMCE editors.
- Disabled TinyMCE context menu so browser spelling suggestions appear on right-click.
Session timeout and remember-me reliability improvements
- Fixed remember-me session handling so login and registration pass the correct remember flag.
- Increased default session durations for standard and remember-me sessions.
- Added configurable session lifetime environment settings for server-side tuning.
Advanced character profiling and character-color workflow
- Character profiles now support Overview plus optional sections like Appearance, Personality, Backstory, Motivations and goals, and Inner conflict / secrets.
- Added custom character sections, character relationships, and clickable related-character navigation.
- Added 24-color character tagging, chapter character tagging, and color indicators on chapter and timeline views.
- Fixed Windows scene drag-and-drop reliability.
Starred projects, account improvements, and billing integration
- Added starred projects for quick access on the Projects dashboard.
- Improved Projects and Account UI, including better mobile card layout and cleaner navigation.

- Registration now uses show/hide password icons instead of a checkbox.
