This Privacy Policy explains how Scryla collects, uses, and protects your personal data.

  • Encrypted password (stored as a password hash)
  • Account identifiers

1.2 Content You Create

The Service stores the content you enter into Scryla (for example: projects, chapters, scenes, outlines, notes).

1.3 Technical / Usage Data

We may collect basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service (for example: IP address, timestamps, device or browser information, and error logs).

With your consent, Google Analytics may also collect limited usage information on our marketing, registration, and billing pages. We do not use Google Analytics inside your writing workspace or send your projects, characters, manuscripts, searches, or other creative content to Google Analytics.

1.4 Billing Data

Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle. We do not store your payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and operate the Service
  • Manage your account
  • Process subscriptions (via Paddle)
  • Improve the Service
  • Respond to support requests
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues

3. Legal Bases for Processing

  • Consent - for optional analytics and marketing technologies where you choose to allow them

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active, and as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
