By creating an account, accessing, or using Scryla, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Scryla is an online author plotting and planning application that allows users to create, manage, and organize writing projects, including chapters, scenes, outlines, and notes.
We may modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and not sharing your login credentials.
We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access to your account where you failed to maintain adequate security.
Scryla offers paid subscription plans. Details of current plans and pricing are available on our website.
Payments for Scryla subscriptions are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). Paddle is responsible for payment processing, tax calculation and collection, invoicing, and refund handling.
Your payment information is handled directly by Paddle and is subject to Paddle's own terms and privacy policy.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select, and renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until that date.

You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload to Scryla, including text, outlines, notes, and related data ("User Content").
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the permanent preservation of User Content.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or for operational or security reasons.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription.
Upon termination, your access to the Service will end and your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to use the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
